While we squabble for crumbs, the winter dragger fleet is cashing in on huge schools of scup and fluke. Normal trips are producing limits needing just a couple of 15minute tows of the net. That's 50,000lbs of scup in 30minutes,!

That's a lot of scup and fluke are suffering a similar fate.

Where does sustainable come into play?

Getting tired of seeing baskets of 10-15lb fluke come off a dragger with regularity while maybe a handful of those fish get caught by rod and reel each season.

So we continue fighting for crumbs..........

I am sorry that you people believe these plans they are not science they are math problems with bad numbers being used these plans are all about conservation equivalency which is now leading up to us having 16 inch sea bass 19 inch fluke so most of the fish we catch must be wasted this is a disgrace and the only one that should be blamed is the managers for listening to organizations like CCA who want to force catch and release fishing on everyone
