Block Island Wind Mills

This report is for yesterday.
My son Charles and I decided to take another trip up to Rhode Island to see if the fluke fishing was still on.
We left my house in Milford Ct around 4am, ran into scattered showers on the way up but by the time we arrived at Galilee state boat ramp in R.I. @ 5:50 am, the rain had moved out.
There a couple of boats at the ramp so we had to wait our turn, the forecast was SE winds 5 to 10 wave heights 2 feet, we knew this was BS so we prepared for it.
Get the boat in the water nad out we went, coming out of the west wall we were going to head for the wind mills when we saw about 15 boats all gathered outside the west wall.
As the winds was blowing a little harder that 10 knts we decided to see what was up, turns out the the boats were fishing for Albies and they were breaking everywhere.
Went in to the cab and got 2 spinning out fits and put a deadly dick and an epoxy jig in green on and we both started casting, I hooked up on the second cast and it turned out to be a small bluefish.
We hung around for about an hour and not one hook up on an Albie, nor did I see anyone else for that matter, but they were definitely there.
From that point I made my way out to 80 feet of water where we caught some nice fluke 2 weeks ago, the wave heights were 3 to 5 like we thought they be so it wasn't a pleasant ride out.
We started fluking and it wasn't long before I hooked up with a short fluke.
I was tuff standing up and I sat most of the time on one of our fish coolers. We drifted for a couple of hours with a couple of more shorts when it started to lay down to a more manageable conditions, so we decided to head for the wind mills, in the mean time I could not understand why there were no party boats or charter boats around maybe the weather kept them in?
As we got closer to the wind mills I could see a couple of boats working the west end mill so we headed for the west, the closer we got the more boats became visible.
When we finally got to where we wanted there were boats everywhere, including the Gail Frances AKA the Flaming Frances lol.
We looked for 70 feet of water and when we found it we started to jig, my son hooked up first with a 22 in cbass, then I hooked up with a 20 in cbass.
We fished our hearts out but only short fluke were caught, we stayed out there till 5 pm, by this time it layed down with small rollers and the ride back in was smooth sailing.
Our total for the trip was six nice cbass to 22 ins, no fluke, water was still dirty with lots of weeds and crap. maybe next weekend, will have wait and see what the fishing reports bring.
Today I am washing the boat and trailer with Salt away and I'm going to flush the motor, which by the way is running great, that last thing I replaced was a starter relay 3 days before our trip, every once in awhile I would turn the key to start the engine and nothing happened, after much troubleshooting and and googling it was determined to be the relay.
Tigh line guys, stay healthy and safe.
A couple of pics.

@Fluke Whisperer Looks like you guys scored some nice biscuits there!
Hi George, yea, you couldn't get away from them, we both dropped a couple of good size fluke, the head shakes were a dead giveaway but the cbass were definitely tearing up our gulp, we went through most of my stock, also the dog fish were doing a number on them.
With the storm coming our way this week, it's highly unlikely I will be headed up there this weekend.
