Screw the air fryer, they're AMAZING fried in bacon grease!!! That was Nana's special when I brought home blowfish...

I don’t do breading or carbs so no use
Most things are pan seared or oven roasted

1cup of flour and 1cup of corn starch, add 2 tbl spoons of Old Bay, tsp salt & pepper and whisk to combine. Add 1 can of beer (12oz domestic lager) and mix together to make a batter. Heat deep fryer (or pot with 2-3" of veg oil) to 350*. Dry prepared Blowfish and season meat with S&P before coating with batter and carefully placing in hot oil. Cook for about 4 min till golden brown. My grandkids love it when I cut the meat off the rack and make boneless Blowfish fingers.

we try to avoid fried anything... got the mIckey mantle syndrome here. My father died at 41, want to beat the odds and so far...
