Bottom fishing

Called in sick this morning, and went out around 10:00 a.m. on my friends boat. The bridges were packed with boats Black fishing. Since it was a beautiful day instead of fighting for a spot at the bridges we headed out to some of the further out reefs and stayed away from the crowed. No legal black fish for us but we did catch several different fish (sand sharks, sea robins, sea bass and blow fish. Also caught porgies and kept several in the 14" to 16.5". Bunker were everywhere but we didn't see anything under them. A few boats were trolling along the beaches but I didn't see any hookups. Time to make some porgy fish tacos

If you catch and large sea robins the tail meat is excellent eating ??
