that Blackfish was 90 minute stopover from my porgy spot… I upped the size of bait to a large piece of salted clam siphon… i was ready to close shop when the dead stick bent over…

I have seen this video before and was contemplating giving it a try .
I tie a similiar T knot with less effort
This knot looks great tying it in the garage or house, but alittle different when its mid to late November and you are on the boat, it’s like 35 degrees and wind is blowing 10-15 knots with gusts to 20.?

With that said, it’s all about what you are comfortable tying. The OP probably can tie this knot in the above conditions because he has done it so many times that it’s second nature to him.
