Many years ago I ran raffles to help the fishing community and several families. Thanks to all of you who supported these raffles they were very successful. I think I have one more raffle in me. So once again I am asking for your support to help people in need. Thank you George for allowing me to use NY Angler web site to reach out to the members.

Dates: Sept. 1 to Nov. 28, 2024. Two winning tickets will be drawn on Thanksgiving Day. First ticket drawn gets choice of
either prize. Second ticket gets remaining prize.

Prizes: Lil’ Mare Rocking Horse and a Long Islander Series fishing rod. Both made by Capt Neil.

Charity: I have chosen one that supports local outreach’s, food pantries , food kitchens, veterans and many other
deserving groups. Am waiting to finalize with them before announcing their name. I will update asap.

Cost: Tickets $10 each or three for $25. To purchase send a check along with your name, phone number and email

Additional Info: A local farm stand is allowing me to sell tickets at their site. Am trying to hook up with the local Farmers
Market for a date. On weekends will sell tickets from my front lawn.

I recently deposited $490 towards a total of $1017. Most of the $490 was due to a very very generous
donation.. For whatever reason ticket sales are very slow . 3 hours on location only produced $75. A couple of events I tried to get into did not work out unfortunately.

Many many people are in need of help, families, individuals, veterans, children and others. Every bit of help is appreciated.

Please consider helping by supporting the raffle. All the monies collected, 100%, will go to
Long Island Cares.

A raffle update. I want to thank you all for joining me on this Journey. I have shut the raffle
down due to colder temperatures and lack of anticipated interest. It has been a tough sell. The wining
tickets will be drawn Thanksgiving day.
The very good news is that a check will be in tomorrow’s mail . $1172.00 collected between raffle sales and donations.
