Yesterday found Brad and his 5-man crew join me looking to put some quality filets on the table for their family Holiday party. So, the logical place for me to take them was “Sea Bass Central” up in the eastern Sound.
Perfect conditions allowed me to partition the boat right on top of the pile and as soon as the anchor stuck it was game on. The guys bailed the biscuits for the next 3 hours and, with a lot of sorting, put together a boat limit catch of fish to 3.5#. A keeper Fluke, one Bluefish, and a few Scup also joined the party. My hands are still a bit cramped from the long session at the filet table!
