Yesterday’s crew of Cindy and her avid anglers joined me for a ½ day Sea Bass charter under stellar weather conditions. After a smooth ride out to the Sound, we set up on anchor north of Plum and were treated to 3 hours of non-stop action.
Naturally, with our restrictive 16” NY regulations we did a ton of sorting but still the 4-person group eventually put 7 nice keepers in the box up to 17.5”. They also topped off the catch with 18 nice sized Porgy’s for Cindy’s air frier. After the nasty heat wave over the holiday weekend this was a really nice and comfortable way to spend a morning in the North Fork.
