Captain's Table - Finally Tog Season

Had a chance to do a little prospecting with my mate Tom today. Hit just a couple of local drops in the Sound for Tog and the action was red hot with multiple limits taken, ORL No real brutes yet but a couple of healthy fish in the 5# class.

Bodes well for the start of my fall charter season which, of course, is all Blackfish all the time! Really hope we can begin this Sunday after the predicted blow moves through. We shall see

Just a handful of weekdays still available and a few individual spots on split charters. If you would like to get out and cash in on our superb North Fork Blackfishing now it the time to call me.

Hope to see you out there.

Great to hear. Hopefully the fan stays on low!!

Not sure why, perhaps coming up on the middle of the moon? Started with an hour or so left of outgoing , took 10 minutes or so for first scratch , really small shorts, 14” sea bass, really good fish dropped then nothing until the start of the incoming, drop and stick for a half hour than a slow pick , then nothing. Re set on a few other pieces for zero? Strange day. A friend , very good tog fisherman ran to Plum in the afternoon for just shorts , slow bite with near perfect conditions and tide.
