Captree pride and magnolia pier

Sorry for the late reports. Doing two reports in this thread. First this past Tuesday me and my dad went fishing on the captree pride on a special pelagics trip from 7am to 4pm. Fishing was good. My dad had a cocktail Blue 3 fluke and sea robins the fluke were all short no surprise there. I had 3 bonito a cocktail blue and several sea robins. On the boat was a couple of false albacore and a bluefin tuna. Had the Blues for dinner. Gave the bonito to my neighbor. 2nd report. Yesterday I went to magnolia pier and fishing was good. I used sabitiki my 2 ounce hammered gold jig and a Bonita jig i caught over 60 blowfish over 20 snappers anchovies. I tried using the anchovies for bait but they didn't last a second once they hit the bottom. Other anglers had fluke Kingfish a pilot fish and sea robins and a giant ray was caught. All fluke were shorts once again. My next trip is this Wednesday on the miss montauk. Tight lines
