Headed out this morning in search of some stripe bass. We started by throwing bass assassins by the bridge, nada. Moved to the inlet for a bit, nothing. Finally headed out to the ocean, tons and tons of bunker pods but nothing working them. Some of us tried snagging bunker and live lining them, nothing was interested in them either. There was one bass boated but it was too big and released. Couple sea robins and dog fish rounded out the days catch.

Sorry to hear that SH
At least you got out.
Was it pretty foggy that way? It was here in Shinnecock
That may have messed with the captains chance to spot and chase birds??

It Was thick this morning! I posted a picture in one of the threads. We saw birds, but they really weren't doing much. Same as the bunker, just chilling lol. We did see some albie break surface, tossed some jigs but struck out.
