Coffee drinkers

I like my Keurig at home and work for a fast cup only fix of coffee its a lot easier than making 6 cups and only drinking four. My at home weekly made morning is my cheapo Mr Coffee machine that I set the night before and I can make a strong brew when I wake up and crawl outta bed to start another day from hell I make my way to the kitchen for a nice hot cup o joe waiting for me. I dont drink normal expresso so need for a machine dedicated to it but if I do want a half assed one I will run a Cafe B thru the keurig on a small strong brew and add the trimmings............... Damm now I gotta make half a pot on a Saturday night Jeeshhhhhhh Im old

Sorry. Was never a fan of K-cup machines.
No doubt K-cups make mediocre coffee at best, but the variety of K-cups and speed of them makes a K-cup machine a useful appliance, especially if counter space is limited. We routinely use 4 different coffee K-cups, 4 types of tea and hot chocolate so nothing else fits the bill...

Maybe someday I'll convince the "Ministry" that I deserve the counter space for a decent espresso machine...

Ummm......your retired and live in Maine. What's the rush?

If anything, I see you using a French press or similar for your coffee drinking pleasure 😎

Just got done battling the Keurig for a while now its not been making a full cup large cup no biggie I just ran the K-cup thru twice this Am I got tired of that and decided to clean the usual suspect the puncture needle that didnt seem to work so I kept changing the brew sizes and and running water only thru it I would puut the freshly brewed hot water back in the tank and repeat the processs after about time of doing this I am now back to getting a full large brew. I was beginning to think it gave up the ghost and I was gonna have to start using my backup single serve motor cycle road trip single cup Keurig machine but for now the old Gal is working

Failing valve, classic Keuring death rattle... When you speak Keurig it translates to "Get a new machine NOW"!!

Bit the bullet yesterday and asked Mrs. Santa to get me an Nespresso machine for my espressos and lattes for Christmas.

I made the decision after I dug out my Keurig "fill your own" cups, filled them with dark roast espresso grinds, and prepped a latte last night. The results were tepid and best and after trying some Nespresso coffee at my son's place back in October, I decided it was time as espresso season is now upon us...

If you like espresso, get a Bialetti.

Been there, done that, and at the end of a holiday meal when more than me wants espresso "Old Faithful" comes out. Too much trouble, time and caffeine wastage for day to day use...
Had a Saeco coffee machine a while back. worked great. Expensive. In the end, it broke down too often to make buying another one worthwhile.

Now I have my $30 krups 6 cup maker for mornings. Bialetti for afternoon.
