CORN ? 2021…

I am a huge Corn lover and I agree that Harbes is easily the best corn on the planet! Just heat and eat, don't even need butter, unless you really crave it. One suggestion. I have lived in this area and enjoyed Harbes corn for well over 25 years. Even at this great farm I find it is best to enjoy the harvest up to about the 3rd week of August. Beyond that the kernels get too large and the amount of starch present starts to dilute the sweetness found in the earlier stuff.

dosent the farmer plant a later season corn ? perhaps 2-3 weeks after 1st planting… cellfish…

I am not a farmer but I believe you are correct., Cellfish. That's what I would anticipate.
Having said that, my observation for the last 25 years is always the same. You can visibly see the size of the individual kernels is much larger come late August into September and the early harvest sweetness of the white/yellow kernel mix in July starts to wane.

Yup,also I like to husk wrap in foil with butter and throw em on the grill for a bit..

2 nights ago, wood fired corn, yum, yum…?… cellfish…
