Corrosion Prevention

The cuddy cabin on my boat tends to get damp, from condensation & wet boots. I try & open the small windows & hatch to keep some air moving but things tend to get musty & mildew. Located behind a canvass partition are all of the electrical connections, that so far have been trouble free, should I be spraying something on the wires & connections to prevent corrosion?

I second The General's suggestion. I have been using DampRid in my cabin since I got this boat and never had a mildew problem. I DID not do that with my CC and by the time mid-September rolled around it was a MESS down there...

I also put the BIG DampRid tub in for winterization, along with mothballs and Bounce Dryer Sheets for rodent protection. No problems or issues...

I also use the Boeshield and Damp Rid combination. Nothing will totally stop the rusting process in a salt water environment but these two products go a long way towards slowing the process down.
