Headed out with frank jr and frank sr in search of sea bass, was cloudy overcast but light winds made it to where we wanted to be was the end of the tide so bite was slow, picked at small porgies with a few good size ones mixed in we had sea bass but last year’s keepers, frank sr hooked up and said this isn’t a sea bass he was right it was a 19” fluke then looking back towards home can see it was raining, but we were on the other side of the sound we started making our way back across and ran into the rain followed by fog we also had the moon tides so holding bottom wasn’t easy Bounced around and picked away kept a few chops for the smoker and the fluke called it a day and of course get in and tie up and it gets nice out all in all was good being out
