Has anyone else tried the Predictcurrent App? (I have no affiliation or personal interest)
We know that current direction and speed is more important than merely knowing the time of high or low tide. I just started trying this new app, which seems a little too good to be true. It also includes wave height and weather.
Its' not that expensive. I'm curious if anyone else has used it. So far it seems to be accurate.
Here's a screen shot near City Island as the tide is starting to flood in from the East River.
Unfortunately, your icon doesn't appear on the screen, but I don't think it's that big a problem.
