Checked the latest weather Monday evining, & it looked like the wind was finally going to lay down. Decision time, do I stay home on Tuesday, & take down the holloween stuff like I was asked to do on Monday, & stay home & blow out the sprinklers like I was supposed to do last week, or go black fishing. So knowing that the new moon was coming up in day or two I set the alarm early so I could get to the fishing grounds for the last of the flood tide, fish through the slack & the start of the ebb, before the tide started to rip. Good day on the grounds, the water temp has dropped, The shorts are getting closer to keeper size & the tiny sea bass are gone. Had fun with a good number of fish & was able to ice three solid keepers, no sea monsters, but fish that didn't have to be measured. Guess I'll do the chores tomorrow, looks like a weather wondow Thursday.
