Do they think we're idiots!

Get ready to get slammed (pig fooked) with higher energy costs and fees NY residents. This is from the Wall Street Journal (gated)

The Coming Green Energy Bailout

Taxpayers will soon be on the hook for The Coming Green Energy Bailout

The speed at which these projects blew up seems stunning. But it really isn’t.

EVs, solar, and wind projects don’t scale. Heck, they don’t scale even with subsidies. I have been saying this for months.

Needed minerals and skilled labor are in short supply. The US is still dependent on China and other foreign countries for materials.
I think a group of us have been saying this for longer than a few months! The Inflation Creation Act in full bloom!!!

As Orstead heads lower . . .

Interesting, I seen that on the AM news; unfortunately it will get no traction. The spin doctors are hard at work. Wait till Orsted and others pull out and the bill falls on our kitchen table.
We'll see what he presents next. It's straightforward: they green-lit the killing of whales. What more can be added? Rumor has it that Orstead continues their operations. I'm on the hunt for footage of their inaugural windmill installation. Word is, it's enormous! It would be compelling to see a united front obstructing their navigational territory. I'm not advocating for any actions - I don’t wish to be held accountable for such suggestions - but unity on this matter would be uplifting!

"A new documentary, 'Thrown To The Wind,' by Director and Producer Jonah Markowitz, proves that the US government officials have been lying. The full film, which is at the bottom of this article, documents surprisingly loud, high-decibel sonar emitted by wind industry vessels when measured with state-of-the-art hydrophones. And it shows that the wind industry’s increased boat traffic is correlated directly with specific whale deaths.

The documentary may not stop the industrial wind projects from being built. After all, the wind projects were going forward despite urgent warnings from leading conservation groups and a top scientist at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

But 'Thrown To The Wind' exposes the reality that the U.S. government agencies, and the scientists who work for them, either haven’t done the basic mapping and acoustic research to back up their claims, have done the research badly, or found what we found, and are covering it up."

If you recall originally they were going to be anchored on a cement base. However, the cost was way too high. Don't forget they're doing this on the highest peak so they could use less material. These are the pieces that our fish live on.

Evidence demonstrates the impact of sonar and pile-driving noises on whales and other marine life. This aligns with our longstanding assertions. Frankly, I'm not taken aback. Let's also remember that they greenlit and fully endorsed the harm to a specific number of whales.

So they are working on destroying that ecosystem right before our eyes for their agenda.

Next they will be telling us how "environmentally safe" it is to mine this new deposit.

Cain ruled the federal government must proceed with the lease sale by Sept. 30 under its original conditions. As a result of a July settlement with environmental groups, BOEM removed about six million acres from the sale and imposed various restrictions on oil and gas vessels associated with the leases auctioned to protect the Rice’s whale species found in parts of the Gulf of Mexico.

The utter hypocrisy! For this, they are NOW CONCERNED about whales?!?

The more you see . . The worse it gets.

Is this a payoff to keep everyone quiet?

South Fork Wind Fisheries Direct Compensation for RI/MA FAQ's
South Fork Wind is committed to working with the fishing community and has established a mitigation fund to pay all valid fisheries claims. While South Fork funds this program, claim eligibility and payment is administered through third parties set up by the States of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Please see below for some common questions regarding the claims processes.

Frequently Asked Questions

I believe vessels working on the South Fork project damaged my gear. How do I make a claim to cover my expenses to repair the gear, or purchase new gear?
If you suspect gear damage or loss caused by or resulting from Ørsted’s activities, please use the Gear Loss Claim Application to file a claim with us.
You can find the instructions and the application at: us.orsted.com/mariners.
I am a Rhode Island-based fisher, and I was unable to fish in my normal or desired area because of South Fork’s construction activity. Can I be compensated for lost income?
Yes, you may be compensated through the Rhode Island Fisheries Direct Compensation Program, funded by South Fork. This fund is administered through the Fishermen’s Viability Trust as requested by the RI Coastal Resources Management Council’s (CRMC) Fisherman’s Advisory Board (FAB). Under an agreement approved by RI CRMC, South Fork funds the program but otherwise has no role in administering the program because that work will be done by a technical assistance provider (TAP). The agreement between CRMC and South Fork is available on CRMC’s website, and it includes eligibility and claims forms, along with the supporting documentation. No one will lose the ability to submit a claim. For Rhode Island commercial and charter fishermen, email [email protected] for more information.
I am a fisher from a state other than Rhode Island. How can I be compensated for economic loss?
If you are a Massachusetts-based fisher, the South Fork Direct Compensation Program is being set up through the Massachusetts Coastal Zone Management office. Under an agreement approved by Massachusetts, South Fork funds the program but otherwise has no role in administering the program because that work will be done by a technical assistance provider (TAP) that Massachusetts has approved and is getting set up. No one will lose the ability to submit a claim. Potential eligibility requirements and claims process could be similar to the example shown here and more information will be provided on the Massachusetts Fisheries Direct Compensation Program pending TAP formalization.
If you are a NY-based fisher with a compensation claim relative to New York State Waters, contact Julia Prince, [email protected].
If you are based in any other state, contact Ørsted’s Rodney Avila at [email protected].
When will I be able to submit a claim for direct compensation due to income lost because I was displaced by South Fork Wind Farm?
Stay tuned for more information for how to apply for via the Third Party's process. Information will be available as State input is finalized
