Of course he did, because no shot at an IGFA record if mammals were used for bait... I think he even dragged that whale carcass closer to Montauk, it was first spotted off of Shinnecock.

No shot at an IFGA record anyway, they were fishing with 150lb test. I don't see any reason for him to lie. They never even submitted it for an IGFA record, AFAIK.
