My buddy lives in islip and been seeing a eagle hanging around, he lives right on the great South Bay only tonight after dinner a pair showed up tonight so awesome two see these birds making a comeback

IF you ever come up and visit me & @Old Mud you'll see more than one. They were all over this AM hassling the gulls and the ospreys...

I have a winter retreat in Venice Florida. It’s located on an Audubon International Certified Signature Sanctuary. There are a LOT of Bald Eagles there. I see them often, and have on several occasions observed them diving into the water and flying away with a fish in their talons.

The place is like Jurassic Park. Alligators, snakes of all kinds including poisonou, bobcats, panthers, bears, all kinds of birds, otters,, hogs, etc.

I live on Trues Creek across from Gardner Park and have seen the two Bald Eagles trying to take a bunker away from a cormorant. They were sitting on the fence the other day.
