Flukemaster19
Angler
Went out to the ocean last night on a frigid but relatively windless night, which is hard to come by this time of year.
Headed to the grounds armed with a dozen eels and handwarmers in tow. The first drop yielded instant life, securing our limit within moments of touching down.
The next few drifts were similarly automatic, with myself pulling in a hefty 25 lber, safely returned to the deep.
Almost as soon as it began, the bite fizzled out and the fish seems to be on to our tactics.
We went almost an hour and a half without a bite before I decided to move on to another location.
Within a few minutes we hooked up a giant, and then another one after that before we decided to call it quits as my toes were beginning to lose feeling.
