Hosted by the founder of noreast.com, and now www.nyangler.com, George Scocca, speaks with local New York Fishing experts as they provide their observations, suggestions, and techniques as we head into the 2020 fall run in New York Waters.

George speaks with Captain Mike Bady of Captains Table Charters, providing a complete rundown on what we can expect out on the North Fork of Long Island. Then we head west and speak with Captain Vinny from Karen Ann Charters as he gives us the skinny, on skinny water striped bass fishing and the great striped bass action that's happening in 1-3 feet of water on artificials.

Then we speak with Captain Mark of Cow Harbor Bait and Tackle as he talks about the crazy season we have seen in the Long Island Sound. Sharks on bunker and big blues on the jig. In our last episode, Mark gave us advice on where to find the winner of this year's 25k Bluefish Tourney. And sure enough, he weighed in the winner!

LOL, I hooked up with a 6' thresher years ago while fluke fishing McAllister - I understand your confusion!
We had this crazy Filipino guy on the boat that was ready to jump in the water with it but luckily for him the line snapped.

That was a surprise for sure. My experience fishing that area has been great! There were a few guy casting to mahi there. I'm not sure of the size, but I saw a lot of crazy things.
