Everybody Ready for Tog Season?

SH27 - Looks like I talked Capt. Mike into upgrading to an "M"-power 6' Grappler spinner. You can compare his to your ML when you get with him. I'm sure he'll find you some primo shallow water jig fish to test those rods to their limit!

He's "Pretty Good" at that sort of thing . . . 8-)

I've taken multiple 6lb-class fish with the ML, on both the North and South Shore - it does bend waaaay over, I'll say that. . .

While fishing in 15' of water last season on Mike's boat I had a REAL bruiser beat me to her favorite rock while I was using my far more potent BH Charter Special/Spheros 4000 combo. I REALLY would have liked to have at least seen that fish. Just nothing I could do to stop her. What a beast! Woof!

That's the stuff that keeps us coming back, season after season!

All depends on the style of hook used and what hook fits the mold. O'Shaughnessy jig hooks are usually longer shanked than most ultra sharp jig hooks
