Fall Jigging

Out with a friend today. Ran S & E of VZ today before Dawn to see what we coud jig. Blues @ 2 lbs were around for about an hour. When that died down, we ran S & E of Sandy Hook Reef. A few miles offshore, we found birds over breaking fish. Jigged up 20-30 --- 5-7 lb blues in @ 3 hours on 15lb Spinners and 1.5oz albie jigs. So much fun with them ripping drag. Maybe we had the drags a little loose but the fish were all released healthy using a de-hooker. Can't wait until the albies move in.
