Hello NY Anglers!

Sorry for the late report. When I got to the dock, I immediately knew that it would not be one of those summer-like Father's Day's as a steady 15-20k NE wind hit me in the face as I turned towards Short Beach. It was unfishable, so I ran to Crab Meadow, where I thought I would get some protection. After a 20 minute run just to get there, I drop in and hit this 23-incher on the head. But as is always the case, well, for me anyhow, I didn't get another bite. It was just too nasty.

The big surprise was finding out my daughter is pregnant, and I will be a grandfather!

I too was rudely greeted out of the Stacks with that hard NE wind. We did manage a way oversized bass on the chunk at slack @8am.
Tried for Fluke in front of the powerplant until @10am with none of your luck.
