Are they putting catalytic converters on them ore something?

Been thinking about an insert for mom's house. Maybe it's time to take the plunge.

Some of them are getting cats not all. In general they dont bank down as much as they used to. Its honesty ridiculous if a tree falls in the forest it emits the same carbon as if you burn it . But oil boilers are still ok go figure

I did a lot of research before putting
My insert in and found out that burning wood is carbon neutral

This damn chilly weather weather has inspired me to try and finish the splitting the rest of what I have on hand for next winter... Gonna go back and split some more til its time to set up the band...

still running mine at night to get rid of the chill in the house - I normally stop using it in early April...

Same, wife requested fire last night and this morning....I’m burning.

Its not too bad out now but very toasty in house.

Well, with the boat tied to the dock with all this wind this weekend, I'm dragging out the splitter with the goal of splitting another cord and making room for the load I gotta get outta Cany's yard in the near future

Since I'm moving to VA next year I am not collecting wood for the following winter. Its a very strange feeling. I still look at the craigslist alerts for free firewood though. I just can't help myself it's really an addiction.

Crazy day at work today
Dragged the splitter out at 5pm to take out some frustration and topped off the last stack I was working on....
Got about 6-1/2 - 7 cords.
All storage areas are ful
Now I'm in full fledge gathering mode to be able to split and refill the areas as I burn them thru the winter
