Hit Jones Field 6 last Saturday - Was a low tide, but all the fishing apps, said fish would be there, so I decided to give it a shot....
Was tough fishing, had a quick bite right away at about 6:30 on a pink curly tail, then it went silent, as the tide hit dead low. Waited for the change and at 8:30, I caught my first fluke of the year - a nice 17 incher....I know it's not diner length...but it was something. Skinny fish, right in the wash....on a white jerk shad.
It on makes you want to go out again
