Ran to the boat after work. Started in the back of the bay close to the lighthouse. Drifted the channel edge. Gulp and bucktails for fluke. Caught 1 short before a friend called me and offered live peanuts. Ran to meet him and we fished together. First three fish with the peanuts were sand sharks by Mt Loretto. Moved to Wolfs Pond and got a 19.5. It was the only bite in five drifts. My friend broke one off. Used rod and reel with very light mono. He said the fish was decent but it popped the line. Went back to the 31 can but only hooked a large sand shark which was great fun on my light spinner with 10lb test. Made one more stop in the back. Got a decent drift along the channel edge but not another nibble. Back in a little after dark. Another fisherman at the dock didn't have any fluke. All sand sharks for him.
