Don't feel bad, neither did that guy on the Fishfinder, that fish was 32 lbs max...

6 to 8 lbs

Just to put it in perspective. There were only 3 mates on board. At one time there were 15 fish on at one time. Once I got my limit I just left the fish at the surface and waited till a mate came and netted it for me. I did swing the shorts I had. Was a great day

BTW, that "42" lb fish likely died from poor handling. I've seen my share of big fish and it's hard enough releasing them while still in the water let alone spending precious moments on deck.

They're much more fragile than the little ones

that wasn't my fish. I took a video for 16 seconds I edited it and then he took a picture with it and released it. I am guessing it was 30 seconds or more it was out of the water
