Couldn’t spot them, but I heard them flying all over Manhattan from Astoria this morning.

While leaving the deli yesterday morning the sweet girl behind the counter wished me" have a nice holiday" and sometimes words just come out of my mouth and i said" thank you but this holiday is not for me Im still alive" then i thanked her and went on my way. I could not get what i said out of my mind all day.

I hate when people wish each other a Happy Memorial Day or use the word Celebrate Memorial Day. It's neither HAPPY or a CELEBRATION!
