Fluke???

Fished a few spots yesterday 4 hours of out going, had 2fish 1 16" & 1 18" worked to hard,
I think I'm done with the fluke this year

Hell of a grind with very little yield sums up this year so far.

I kayak fish the backbay three hours a morning averging four times a week. Last year the few keepers I got were all in the 20s. This year, although I have caught more, were all "just" 19 or 19 1/2. For the last two weeks I have only been livelining snappers. Lost a probable keeper boatside, caught another and add in a 19" weak. Nothing caught except the snappers the last three four times out .

Very strange year. Bringing fish home to eat is probably been the worst year I have ever had

June 9th and July 11th last two keepers i had for dinner fluke the ninth and a sea bass the 11th on party boats. Magnolia I had a bluefish and several snappers recently
