Got out just at first light yesterday, & was not happy to see the fog get thicker the further east I traveled. Arrived at Plum Gut, & was not happy with the number of boats racing from drift to drift in the fog, so headed off to a few less traveled sea bass spots, where the shorts outnumbered the keepers, but was able to put a catch together. When the fog lifted, back to the gut, where the blue fish were happy to inhale bucktails or jigs. Time to head back to the inlet, & found a pod of at least 50 dolphin 4 miles east of Mattituck inlet slowly making their way west, followed for a while & headed for the ramp.

I can relate, it amazes me how much this goes on, blatant disregard for safety and for what?
