Anyone who has done "hard labor" in a large American Corporation swears that Scott Adams works in their company. This bit from today's Dilbert reminds me of a very similar situation. Our LRP (Long Range Plans) were modeled over 5 years. When my boss presented his one year, a big boss asked, "Why do you see that growth in the 5th year?" His response was immediate, "We figure God will invent a new virus!", which was greeted with intense laughter.
