Just went on to the Mitchel Field Exchange site. For grins, I put an on sale $1108 fridge in my cart. The price in the cart was $937, no tax and free shipping. I'm thinking our discount through the Exchange includes appliances. Just saving the tax is nice but it seems I also got 15% off as a Veteran. It was fuzzy math off the list price. Oops. The above post might be confusing. The fridge was on the Home Depot site accessed through the Mitchel Field Exchange site. To be clear. You go on the Exchange site and scroll down to the Home Depot site. You shop on the HD site and put it in the HD cart. At checkout, you are brought back to the Exchange site and it's purchased through the Exchange.
