With working from home due to Covid, the price of gas and out of control crime, people are dropping their dollars into improving their homes.

Also the red hot home sales make it a good investment should you sell.

I have to wonder IF the money spent on major renos would actually be recouped in a sale. With people paying cash for houses they buy sight unseen without inspections, I'd be a bit skeptical on that point, especially considering the crazy material prices right now, and the inability to even get someone to do the work...

Speaking of gouging, what about the taxes? Corporations' profits are based on percentages, so is gov't revenue. How come it's gouging when business does it, but the tax man rakes in a ton of extra money you don't hear our representatives vilifying it like they do to businesses.

They just cant make any exceptions to their "GREEN ENERGY" platform even as we sink closer to a recession!
