Was up west yesterday and saw still over $3 at 7-11 on Wading River Rd in Center Moriches
Whenever I can I buy it in Riverhead

I hear what you’re saying but the reality is is that where I live the price of gas is $3.25 so the average or up island price doesn’t matter to me because the sign at the pumps around here are well over $3 a gallon
Do I buy gas elsewhere, especially in Riverhead when I can, of course I do

I think they should have a separate price for locals and trippers who need to fuel up at the pump.
They have serrate pricing for cash or credit, they can ask for your zip code that coincides with you card and charge you accordingly .

They can track anything.

A new 7-11 with a gas station opened in Hampton Bays this week on Montauk Highway just west of the intersection with 24
Drove by today and saw $2.79!!!!!

Im guessing its a grand opening special but its good to see
