Getting close..

I am thinking next weekend if the weather cooperates.I have to run over to the boat yard for a short haul to get the bottom painted and pull my lowers for waterpumps and gear oil change.
Well the boat went back in the water yesterday and I brought her home to her slip this morning.Thhe bottom is all painted, engines are all tuned up boat is ready to go fishing I will kill a couple of more days giving her a good cleaning. Maybe I will drown some muscles and try to find a flounder.

Cleaner waxed the hull last night. I was planning on only waxing it, but upon closer inspection I decided to go the extra mile.

I then waxed the hull and topside.

Tonight I will clean the enclosure isinglass and snaps. I'll clean/treat the snaps and zippers too.

I'd do more but my left (non repaired) shoulder is on fire! All that wax on - wax off did me in last night. On the bright side my repaired shoulder and ankle feel great!

Getting closer.... ?
If you ever need a hand give me a shout. I’m bored lol.

Finally getting started, hit it with the power washer today maybe start on the bottom tomorrow if the rain holds off, really don't Have much to do this year..

All done! Boat is clean as a whistle inside and out. ?After the cleaner wax I did two coats of wax. Never did that before, worth the effort! My little 'oopsie' was fixed; like it never happened! I cleaned up my work area and then organized my fishing tackle then stored it in the cabin.

The only things left to do is take her home, run the engine, and clean the deck.

I was thinking of splashing tomorrow, but there are other things I need to do. I plan on thatching my lawn and seeding. I've already finished mulching six yards worth, and leaving some low spots in the yard. I also have poker at 6PM

When I splash I will use it several times a week for the foreseeable future, so waiting another few days/week won't hurt. I know I'm ready!!:)

nice (and clean) looking craft....

Step forward for you, 2" of snow back step here. At least my dock repairs are done, but too cold to paint the bottom and with melting snow/freezing at night, I'm in no rush to pull the shrinkwrap quite yet...
