Glad I called out today

longcast

Well-Known Angler
Had a fantastic day out with my son today. His interest has increased in the last few months. Loaded the boat and off we went. The ocean was flat and looked great. Headed out based on some recent intel and was not disappointed. Bunker getting blasted and the bass were hungry! Battled a brief instance of fog which kept the boat count down. Took some bunker back to the inlet and continued there until the tide gave up.
After that back to the ocean and took a longer run and found the mother load. Ended the day with 30 bass from just keeper on the high end of the slot up to 44 inches with a bunch in the higher end of our catch limit. Blues moved in and were relentless tearing up anything that moved. We landed those from 8-12 pounds.

Cleaned up the slot fish and now exhausted.

Fantastic, Kevin. Judging by the smiles, I think you just created a lifelong fisherman! Well done.
