For the same reason I'm sitting here typing and not fishing. They must be related to those Ying-Yangs who got beached in the Nissequoge this week...

Dom, in their defense after that storm that cut changes dramatically. Sometimes it closes only to open up a half a mile away. really strange place as you could be away a couple of days or more and come back and not get in. a couple of years ago a whole new one opened up and everybody has waited for that one to close back up. Not a pretty place with a stiff SW breeze and an outgoing moon tide.

No weather data, looks like the storm earlier in the week took out the weather station which is still set for August 18th. No wonder the temps yesterday looked weird to me. Think I would have looked at the time stamp on the data...

Good Morning everybody... just got back in from doing some surf casting...Don your so right... this cut changes all the time.

The red mark is near n about the spot they grounded. The yellow is near n about where the new cut is. It’s clearly marked and I navigated with no problem.

Top of the Saturday Morning to all of you!! Hope everyone has a great, healthy and safe day!!

Up early to catch 1 hr of fishing from the dock, tide is perfect. Kind of obscene being able to do that. Last night I took a glass of port down there and caught a nice 23" fish, while being taunted by a good 1/2 dozen others that just wanted to splash at my lure...
