Gotta Time The Tides

Got out yesterday, & headed for Plum Gut in the hopes of a slot striper. Had the rod bending with my fill of mostly blue fish & a few short bass. I also had my sights set on sea bass & knew that the new moon tide was coming, but stayed too long at the Plum Gut party. Only had a little over an hour for sea bass, & was able to put three good ones in the box before the tide really started to crank. I knew it was coming, lesson learned, again.

Yea those slot sized bass are hard to find right now. but there's nothing like a Sea Bass on the plate!
