How do you l
ike using the cedar planks I have some never used them

First time we tried it, the fish came on the plank from the market. I thought it was just OK but that could be because I’m not a salmon fan.

I dont get what the cedar plank does thats why I havent tried them yet

I have had fish on cedar planks and find it very good.

Ialso once had Salmon on cedar plank in Nova Scocias White sands Beach resort cooked on the beach over open fire outside our window of resturan and would have rather been the cook than the diner.

It was Ok.... the Salmon is not for me... the stripe bass i had on it was awesome, it gave it a nice Smokey flavor.

Trick is to soak the board overnight before using , not just wet it.
