As much as I'd almost rather jam a cocklebur up my pee-hole than endorse the profiteering PsOS at Chicom loving Weber I have to admit that the iGrill system seems to work very well.

Last week we did several chicken bewbs of varying size and thickness. By... "ahem"... probing,.. the largest and smallest ones I was able to juggle position and burner temp to get them all to finish at the same time and temperature.

They were the best chicken ta-tas I have ever managed to grill. Perfectly cooked, moist,...did I mention moist? Juicy! They were nowhere near dry or remotely undercooked, just amazing. Nothing like good data to ensure good results.

I'm really looking forward to trying beer-can chicken again. I know for sure I can make it work now.

Seems like I still have more work to do. I placed the probe wrong and got very uneven temperature readings from side to side. However, there was also an issue with continuity on the probes that made temps just drop out, and then I wasn't so keen to trust what I was seeing.

Fortunately I was watching my times and turned the steak often. But one side was a little overdone. Looks like I'm going to see how good Weber's warranty is on their accessories.
