Grillin & Chillin

I get it now. Serious cleaning coming before the next meal. I've been neglecting some maintenance just because we don't really do big cooks. It's usually a couple o' burgers and corn or a steak.

Now I'm going to Shop-Vac the marbles out of the bottom and change the tinfoil grease tray more than once.
Thats what gets me I usually do the cleaning after the fire

Right now she's cooking off the EZ-Off Stainless cleaner, whatever water is left, and some crud on the grates.

I'm leaning towards using some lye solution to get the crispy fats off the grates. Does anyone have any thoughts on getting the soot stains off of things?
