While the mods are preparing the poof machine for a possible tough day, I decided to get back out to a few ponds and free the mind.

Slow outing, but managed 2 chunks for the effort. Mush bite, but made an account for themselves when they realized the meal was not for free. Both on tiny jigs.

Also texted my cardiologist and cancelled my stress test. Told him no need. As I was standing there I saw “the mud” move. Upon closer look it ended up be rather big ugly turtle too damn close to my foot. I’m pretty tough, but for those interested I did scream like a schoolgirl.

Anyway, was very surprised to see this guy moving around, but guess they have to eat too.

I would have to put way more time into it and also look for different tides, etc. So no I have not strictly targeted them.

I was not even sure I was getting out until this morning, mostly spur the moment rod in the car and just went down there to give it a shot. I will keep it in mind.
