Here we go for 2022 . . . First Look at the new Shimano Talavera Type J inshore jigging rods

Looks like Shimano now has 4 families of inshore/slow pitch jigging rods - the excellent Game Type J (Approx $379), the Grapplers Types J & SJ (the J's are my favs at around $279), the Trevala PX ($179) and now the Talavera Type J series at right around $120. I guess Shimano got tired of watching Daiwa's Harriers fly out their dealer's doors in that price class.

I personally have not yet seen these rods, but for that relatively modest coin, I would think they will excel in their price range. Pretty little things, as well.

Nice Lep... Fisherman's worlds website says they have them in stock. I'm working up there this week, will try to stop in and take a look.

I will give it a look out of curiosity but I prefer at least 6’3 or 6’4” length
