certificate of the first Panama Canal crossing aboard the cruise ship Celebrity Beyond… silly stuff…

on the east entrance, we passed tru 2 locks and anchored in the Gatun lake for several hours thereafter…

TRUE STORY:

before going on christmas cruise, i stored most of my fishing gear at friends place here in Boca…

upon returning, our crazy female friend came down wit a heavy case of CoVid… she demanded we stay away until or wear Tyvek / Hazmat suits for pick up of my precious fishing things…

rather than hassle the lunatic, wife and me drove 30 miles to Bass Pro near our storage at Fort Lauderdale, and shop for cheap surf sticks…

one was $100, another the ugly stick was $80 and the last was $20.00, which i bought… had a spare reel in storage…

last night using the yellow tip $20.00 ten foot rod, surprised me to see it bend sharply wit a pompano rig (shrimp bait ) at the end of incoming tide.. that was it for a 2 hour gig…

moral of story, I D K…

CRUISE SHIP🚢 LEFTOVER FOOD

so on a cruise ship with hundreds of pounds of leftovers, either from expired goods or passengers waste, where does it go…???

1) gets burned for added ship power.?

2) sorted & trashed at deep sea.?

3) returned to port for compost recycling.?

4) something else.?

answer i was told…

i’ve been on cruises 🚢 wit passengers up to 3500; hardly meet the same face twice… no thanks, yuck… proceed wit caution at buffet, BACON UNLIMITED…

if there were a true fuel crisis, these ships wouldn’t be able to be built at the rate they are…

the Engineering and Designing of these behemoths are breathtaking… “everything” a tight fit… cellfish…
