Hey Lep I need to beef up a bit for when I fish with you . . .

So last year I lightened up but never really caught enough fluke on my slow jig setup. I know its me, so I'm sticking with it again this year.

But there's no way I'm missing out on another one of you're invites - you are inviting me again right ?. The problem is two-fold, the first one is I don't have the equipment to fish that terrain. The second problem is I'd like two setups. One for fluke and the other for tog. I'd rather not go with a slow jig setup. I have one for 40-feet and under in the sound and I'm just not feeling the bite. Not that I had a lot of practice this year, and I know I will eventually get it, I'd rather have a more conventional setup.

It's obvious you've caught plenty of them so I defer to what you think is the best combo out there for fluke and one for tog.

I deserve this. After all, I only do this once a year. Well maybe more than that

Hah! ANOTHER invite? Hmmm.

Well, you had a good reason to miss last time, that's for sure. You want store-bought or custom?

If factory, I have a MINT Lami IC66MH that I never used. Best factory "non-slow pitch" deep fluke jigger ever made, IMHO. Wanna make a deal? You have a reel you like for this sort of stuff?

If not I can part with one of my own home-built Abu 4600 reels that perfectly matches that rod, both color-wise and in souped up performance. Ehh, its getting to time to start moving this sort of stuff to other loving homes - in anticipation of my leaving this Isle of Taxes for greener (in my pocket, I mean) pastures.

I'll take it! I want it! I wanna make a deal!
