How did you guys do this weekend?

I went out Friday and braved the wind and high seas on the south shore. I managed to catch a blacktip shark on a live line bunker. It was definitely a nice pull! (posted a short video on youtube - click here)

But other than that there were blues underneath the bunker pods, but I couldnt get one to bite my lure. Had them chasing right up to the boat. Current was moving too fast for any bottom action.

I imagine Saturday and Sunday were better?

I'll be out of Jones Inlet on next Sunday morning if there is anyone planning to go out at that time.

That is really cool.

I took a charter from South Jersey to Block (Customers we’re from S Jersey; my boat is in Greenport). Fluking was off a bit but the young man in this picture (he turned 16 the day before the trip) broke his PB of 4 pounds three times on the trip including the 27.5 inch 8 plus pound fluke he’s holding.
