Learned Colleagues: Every time I strap on my Husqvarna 150BT backpadk Leaf Bloser"Guatemalan Hair Dryer" if I've got the latest "LawnGuyLandese Term" correct, and tighten the straps, and snap on the belt, it only takes about 5 min before the straps start sliding off my shoulders. I'm thinking about putting a strap across my chest to secure the 2 straps on the unit, but have to ask am I doing something wrong??

Thanks in advance for your sage and valued advice...

OMG don't make me come down there !!!. :p Ok let me give my well worn advise. Git yerself a short bungee cord. Hook one end and run it cross yer chest to tother end. Yeah i know ,"Spellin". :giggle:

I know, yer a Doctor not an Engineer. :giggle:

Hey, you're always welcome to visit!! I was ready to implement another tack, just using any other old strap across, but bungee would word too.

A damn shame that NOBODY offers a cross chest strap on any backpack blower I've seen.

I have had to do that on my hunting backpack for years. I thought it was just me.

lol .....
Mud , tellin' it like it is.
I have had the same issue and just figured it was a result of my slightly less than svelte body style causing the issue.

;)

Oh HELL NO!!! 2+ acres of cleared land w/acres of woods around me??? The beauty is that I don't have to bag or anything, just blow the dang things back into the woods or the water...

I'll tell you what's better than that, Mulching blades ! It all goes back to your lawn Win, Win. So hey now that i remember there was a time i lost my bungee in the swamp. Guess what i used to replace it while i was up there ?? Comeon guess. Duct Tape, yep and it worked so dam well i left it on for the rest of the week. :)

Well I heeded the advice of Jedi Master Mud today, the first time I had to use my leaf blower since he came up with the genius idea of the bungee cord. Needless to say, it worked like a champ.

Next lunch is on me, whenever they'll let us do that!!!
