Finally splashed late yesterday afternoon, and put her through her paces on the shakedown cruise...flat calm conditions, so nice to be back. After about 20 minutes through the RPM range, it was time to set up and get used to the Rhodan that was installed over the winter with major help by fellow Amigo Koz. Calibrations and set up went by the book, and soon after we were "drifting" for fluke, aka Sea Robins. We only had lines in for about 1/2 hour, with my son hooking the first fish of the year. The trolling motor worked flawlessly, and I'm looking forward to spot locking some buck toothed big lipped reef donkeys! We found life in the 15-25 foot range, with a couple of short fluke coming up also.
